Demystify aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to elevate the quality of your shots beyond the basic point-and-press approach.



After just one straightforward lesson, you'll find yourself composing fantastic shots with newfound confidence. My goal is to make learning a new and valuable life skill an exciting experience under my guidance.


Throughout the course, you'll delve into various aspects, including:


  • Utilizing 10-stop filters for captivating long exposure shots in daylight.
  • Mastering the exposure triangle.
  • Applying the rule of thirds for balanced compositions.
  • Training your eye to capture compelling photos.
  • Developing the art of post-editing using Adobe Lightroom.

And that's just the beginning! Join me on this photographic journey, where you'll unlock the secrets to landscape photography and much more.


What to Expect

The photography lessons exclusively revolve around capturing images in the scenic countryside surrounding Lancashire. However, I do offer city scape lessons in Manchester.


The Lesson Includes:

3–4 hours of hands-on, practical photography training, delving into the fundamentals of the craft. Covering essential elements such as Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, White Balance, and Filters, this session aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of key photography principles.


Loan of tripods, filters and filter systems.


Following a morning of photography, we'll gather over tea or coffee to reflect on your learning experience. We'll review your captured images, offering additional practical advice to enhance your skills.


Additionally, I will share valuable tips and tricks for post-editing using Adobe Lightroom. As a keepsake from your day's lesson, I'll send you the finalized, edited images.

Through my photography lessons, my goal is to share the wealth of experience I've gained over my many years as a photographer.
