Location Portrait Photography Lancashire.

As an alternative to my studio portrait photography, I also like to get out and about, adding a different dynamic to portraits.

Lancashire has a lot of locations available to suite most portrait shoots. From stunning country side, to historic Towns and Cities.

Most portrait photographers swear by natural day light, and I have to agree. The use of natural light can be used very creatively. Direct sunlight can be very harsh, so using trees or foliage to defuse the light can produce beautiful results.

Although the weather can be unpredictable at times, using sheltered areas when its raining can produce dramatic effects.

Location portrait photography produces great, thought provoking images, almost telling a story. It also personalises the photograph for my clients.

Romantic Portrait Photography.

Have you recently got engaged? Or want a set of beautiful, romantic photographs taking?

If you are looking for a romantic photo shoot, locations are just as vital. Using a place where you got engaged can really add romance, and a personal touch the photographs.

As well as photographing many romantic shoots in Lancashire, I have also traveled the country. From the Snowdan Mountain Range and the Lake District, to London and The Scottish Highlands.

Have a look at my pre wedding page to get an idea of the many varied locations I have photographed.

Pregnancy Photography

Having a baby is a wonderful time for any parent. Beautiful photographs that remind you of this amazing time are precious to any parent. A location shoot is a great alternative to a studio shoot.

Lancashire has some amazing locations to use for pregnancy photography. From the sand dunes at Ainsdale Beach to the meadows and flowering fields that surround Lancashire.

Capturing the beauty can be enhanced by the nature that surrounds you.

I recommend having your photographs taken in the third trimester, although from 6 months is totally fine. Ultimately, whenever is comfortable with you.

When it comes to, “what to wear for the shoot?” I would recommend what ever you feel comfortable in. Some mothers-to-be are more self conscious than others. You don’t have to be too revealing, as long as we capture the beauty of pregnancy.

One of the main concerns, is not wanting to be in the nude in front of a stranger. I fully understand! During your consultation we cover lots of ideas to get creative. And protect my clients modesty.
